- The combination of my given name and my chosen profession have forever branded me as a T-square. A T-square is a tool used by architects (in an era gone by) to create straight lines, lines that follow a strict set of rules. Not being fond of rules, this branding has always made me wince. Yet, I love my name and I love my profession, so I bend my t-square to fit.
